Plug and Play
With the exception of IKEA self-assembly furniture, a manual is rarely required to unlock how things fit together. In 2021, practically everything comes in “plug and play” mode and is expected to be operational from the outset. We are increasingly happy to learn as we go. When we do come unstuck, expert advice can be sought and/or bought or we can ask Google or watch YouTube. The truth is, we generally don’t want to invest time upfront in fully understanding what we have before we start to use it. If we have to, we learn to, sort of, master something over time.
ECON understands how valuable time is for you, your team, and your customers. That is why ECON Polyurethanes have been providing a free, compact 2-day Foam Master Academy for MDI users for over a decade. These programmes provide the knowledge, resources, and practical experience needed to become one of BASF’s fully approved Foam Masters. The course is tailored to meet precise needs; answering questions without dispensing overwhelming, irrelevant detail.
Contractors would ordinarily attend the 2-day Foam Master Academy at BASF’s training centre, in BASF Alfreton, Derbyshire. Drawing on the industry’s combined expertise, attendees will learn the methodology and application of spray foam. Upon satisfactory completion of 10 theory and practical modules, new Foam Masters will be included in BASF database of approved installers. Foam Masters can then access an extensive portfolio of BASF products and quote for applicable projects that specify BASF spray foam insulation.
